The San Francisco Giant’s are battling against the Kansas City Royals at their Championship Series this year.
Everyone knows that superstitions run high in sports so it should come to no surprise that there are a couple of San Fran radio stations that have taken their sports battle a step higher.
Posted on Facebook, one of the Radio Stations ‘taking one for the team’ said, “No offense, Lorde, but for the duration of the World Series, KFOG Radio will be a “Royals”- free zone. We’re sure you understand.”
Of course the other radio station involved, KOIT, said that they took to the ban after their listeners complaints.
Some Giant fans said that Lorde’s song Royals seems to be against the Royals due to some of the lyrics she sings… such as “We’ll never be royals”.
