Although, the Jaguars organiztion did not know until after the game that their mascot, Jaxson de Villa made a poor judgment call during the Sunday’s Steelers vs Jacksonville game.
Their mascot of 18 years is Curtis Dvorak and he made a horrible joke while riding around on his segway during the game holding up a sign that read “Towels carry Ebola”. These towels were the towels that were being used by the Steelers fans at Sunday’s game.
The Jaguars have since than apologized for their mascot’s bad taste in trying to taunt/trash talk the Steelers and they are handling this internally.
The Ebola is not a matter to joke about, especially considering the recent Dallas case, etc…
