Donald Glover is joining the cast of the upcoming sequel to “Magic Mike.” TheWrap.com reports Glover — who raps under the name Childish Gambino — and actress Elizabeth Banks are the latest additions to “Magic Mike XXL.” On Monday, former NFL star and “Live! With Kelly & Michael” co-host Michael Strahan also announced that he’s signed on for a role in the film. Amber Heard, Andie McDowell and Jada Pinkett-Smith will also star in the sequel.
Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello will reprise their roles from the first film. However, Matthew McConaughey will not be returning for the sequel.
