(ROSENBERG, TX) — You’ll soon have another place to shop in Rosenberg.

The city has approved the building of an outlet mall that’s expected to generate millions of dollars in revenue for the city.

The mall will be called Paragon Outlets Houston and feature close to 100 designer and name brand stores.

“[Paragon has] traditionally partnered with excellent tenants like Coach, Michael Kors, to name a few,” said Randall Malik of the Rosenberg Development Corporation.

The 400,000-square-foot mall will be located across from the Brazos Town Center along Highway 59. When finished, as many as 1,500 people will be employed in the mall, which should generate $160 million in sales each year.

“We think this will be an excellent catalyst to bring additional restaurants to the area as well as full service hotels,” Malik said.

Construction will start in the spring of 2015 and be finished by spring of 2016.
