Tony Highs who has been homeless since 2009 is well-known around downtown Detroit for playing his trombone at sport games and such.
Unfortunately, while playing his trombone one day at a festival, Tony was mugged by a group of guys of his trombone and his glasses. Of course he’s been down since the mugging, but after the story aired on Detroit’s news, he’s had numerous of people offering to buy him a new instrument to play.

One of the people insisted he be that to help Tony out… It was the Lions DE Ziggy Anash. After seeing Tony tearful, Anash said he was in a good spot and he wanted to help Tony get his trombone so he could play for the people again. Anash sent a message to Tony, he said, “Tony I just want you to calm down. We are going to get you back your instrument. You are going to play for all the people who come around to listen to you”.  Anash also invited Tony out to the practice and to a see the Lions play as well.
