The former middleweight boxer Jermain Taylor was arrested Tuesday evening in Arkansas on a domestic battery charges and aggravated assault against his cousin Tyrone Hinton.
On Wednesday morning, Taylor appeared in a video court appearance and charges were filed against him as First-Degree domestic battery and aggravated assault. Tyrone Hinton is in the ICU with 2 gun shoots and in serious condition.
Taylor’s attorney is trying to get Taylor extradicted to Miami to start training camp since Taylor is scheduled to fight Sam Soliman October 8, 2014. The attorney told Judge Wayne Gruber, “This is 100 percent of his ability to support his family, and that it will strip him of his ability to support his family if he’s unalbe to repot to camp and fight in October.
