The Big Homie Shad Moss, formely known as Bow Wow, is joining the cast of the new “CSI” spin-off “Cyber.” Moss will play hacker Brody “Baby Face” Nelson who is ordered by a judge to work with Patricia Arquette’s special agent character Avery Ryan, or go to prison. Series creator Anthony Zuiker says the Baby Face role required someone with “deep acting chops and off-the-charts smarts.” Zuiker says Shad Moss has both.
“CSI: Cyber” will also star “Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek and Peter MacNicol of “Ally McBeal” fame. The series will premiere during the 2014-2015 TV season.
