Mo’ne Davis 13, made history as the first girl to throw a shutout game during the Little League World Series. On Friday, Aug. 15, the Philadelphia Taney Dragons played against Tennessee in Willamsport, Pa. where Mo’ne pitched her 70 mph throws that allowed 2 hits, 8 strikeouts, and zero walks, making it the first-ever shutout game pitched by a girl.
