DWI Not So Fun House(HOUSTON) – The DWI “Not So Fun House” returned to Houston Thursday night, courtesy of TXDOT.

The vintage-style carnival trailer offers interactive games simulating the effects of alcohol.

Deidrea Samuels with TXDOT says they wanted to bring their message to an environment where people might consider drinking and driving.

“The carnival has some very interesting facts about drinking and driving,” Samuels said. “We want people to know it is all fun and games, have fun, but know also the consequences of drinking and driving are not so fun.”

The funhouse features your traditional carnival games, plus a driving simulator, all while wearing the fatal vision goggles which show what it’s like to play while drunk.

TXDOT reminds you that if you plan on drinking, you can visit soberrides.org, which lists ride options in areas throughout Texas.
