(DOBBIN, TX) – A woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of hiding cocaine in the same bed her baby slept in.

Emesia Shantell Surgers-Berry, 29, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said they served Surgers-Berry with a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 25900 block of Ella Brown.

During the search, deputies allegedly found nine grams of “crack” cocaine tucked inside a baby crib where her 9-month-old child was sleeping.
