robbery(HOUSTON) — Police are looking for three men who robbed a cell phone store in broad daylight last week in southwest Houston.

It happened around 1:35 p.m. July 17 at a Sprint store in the 4800 block of Beechnut.

According to police, three masked men stormed the store with guns in hand. They reportedly demanded money from employees, and police said one of them struck an employee with a gun.

Police said the men arrived and fled in a black Chevrolet Impala. They got away with several phones and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators believe the same trio committed a similar robbery at another Sprint store at 2802 North Shepherd Drive around 9:25 a.m. on July 9, as well as other robberies in the Houston area.

The suspects are described only as three black males believed to be 25-30 years old. All of them had their faces covered.
