(PASADENA, TX)– Pasadena has its first Big Tex Barbecue Festival beginning Thursday.

President of the Festival Sam Angel Barazza says not only is the food going to be amazing, but the entertainment is worth the price of admission. General admission is $15. Senior citizens and kids 12 and under are $5, and veterans and servicemen get in for free.

Throughout the 3-day event, the Big Tex Fest will have armed forces tributes as well as tributes to some rocking 80′s bands. The Big Tex barbecue fest runs this Thursday through Saturday.
