Following America’s 2-1 defeat against Belgium, Twitter has picked the hero of the game, Goalkeeper, Tim Howard.
Several memes of #ThingsTimHowardCouldSave have gone viral after the goalkeeper’s incredible performance in Tuesday’s World Cup match.
Although Howard’s 16 stops wasn’t enough to save his team in the defeat, it got him 1.8 million Twitter mentions and drew more than 130,000 followers to his @TimHowardGK tweeter account since the match.
