(Salvador, Brazil) — The U.S. men’s soccer team begins the knockout stage of the World Cup soccer tournament today. The Americans play Belgium in the single-elimination Round of 16 at 4 p.m. Eastern. The U.S. welcomes back striker Jozy Altidore, who missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury. The Americans are trying to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2002.
