KFC had to apologize to a family after a little girl, recovering from a pitbull attack, was allegedly asked to leave the restaurant because her appearance was scaring other customers.

The three-year-old lost her right eye, suffered a broken jaw, nose and cheekbones and facial scarring when she was attacked by three of her grandfather’s dogs.

The family posted a photo of three-year-old Victoria Wilcher on a Facebook page with the message: ‘Does this face look scary to you?

‘Last week at KFC in Jackson Mississippi this precious face was asked to leave because her face scared the other diners.

‘I personally will never step foot in another KFC again and will be personally writing the CEO.’

KFC said it has launched an investigation into the claims.

A spokesperson said: ‘Please accept our sincere apologies while we try to investigate this incident.

‘We have zero tolerance for any kind of disrespectful behavior by our team members. Once we have further details, we will immediately investigate this and take action, and we wish nothing but the best for Victoria in her recovery.’
