(HOUSTON) — A Houston man is facing charges, accused of sexually assaulting a teenager he met on Facebook.
According to court documents, Chima Okereke, 37, started having a sexual relationship with the 15-year-old girl in December 2013. Investigators said the encounters would happen when the girl’s father was at work and her aunt was traveling.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said Okereke assaulted the girl inside her home and again inside Okereke’s car.
According to court documents, on March 25, the girl told a counselor at the Children’s Assessment Center that she had been sexually assaulted.
Okereke is now charged with sexual assault of a child under 17.
