The drama continues with comedian Kevin Hart and ex-wife Torrei Hart. Kevin has gone on to have a wildly successful career and has even gotten an upgraded model girlfriend and is livin’ the life. Torrei his ex-wife, however, seems to still be harboring some anger, and frustration.
Shame, shame, shame the things women have to go through. One recurring theme we’ve all seen with our girlfriends and with those celeb-ex’s, repair my relationship, couples therapy- reality shows is the situation where the woman for however long took up with a man who didn’t have much, but invested her time and dedication in her man. She gives encouragement, love, support, bears children and sacrifices sometimes her very own dreams for his betterment; just for him to blow up, acquire whatever levels of success and wind up being left in the dust with only hopes for basic acknowledgement and decent child support; many times neither being received.
The two were married for seven years and divorced now for nearly three. Does she need to forgive and move forward? Is she right to feel the way she does? Is she being a bitter woman? What’s a girl to do?
As Kevin does manage to handle his monetary obligations well, is he taking care of the mother of his children well? Is it his responsibility to provide some closure. We want to see her work this out and find some peace.
