(Brooklyn, NY) — Two young boys in Brooklyn New York are facing criminal charges for allegedly putting rat poison in their teacher’s water bottle. The boys are nine and 12 years old. They were arrested Tuesday and charged with reckless endangerment, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. The teacher got sick after drinking the poisoned water, but is reportedly doing okay.
