An Australian man and his son are getting the hero treatment after using a six-pack of beer to save an elderly woman from an attacking dog. According to the “Brisbane Times,” Justin and Jacob Innes were on their way to dinner Friday when they saw the 90-year-old woman being brutalized by her daughter’s American pit bull terrier. Justin says he started hitting the dog with one of the bottles of Victoria Bitter, but it wasn’t until Jacob came in with the rest of the six-pack that they were finally able to subdue the animal. The woman is said to be in critical condition after the attack, while the dog is expected to be euthanized.
