We’ve seen the bus stop brawl sometime in our life, but a brawl at a River Bank, California school bus stop Monday involved, a fist-flying, F-bomb-dropping melee between the mother of a Ustach Middle School student and a 13-year-old girl, reported Fox40.

“She just came out of nowhere. Her mom punched me in the face,” Desseray Tillman, 13, said.

“Her eye was bleeding. It was swollen. She had scratches. I was in a panic zone,” Desseray’s mom, Paula Tillman, said.

“I was devastated because I was like ‘this lady can’t be all there to put her hands on a student’,” Lee Vell Tillman, Desseray’s father said.

The Tillmans say Desseray became a target Monday because she landed a coveted bus seat on the ride home from school.

“When we get on the bus, it’s who ever gets on the bus first goes to the back and she got mad because I was sitting in her seat,” Desseray said.

That tension supposedly erupted into a huge fight.

A friend of the girl who lost out on the seat and her mother went on the attack as the girls from Ustach got off at the bus stop in front of Crossroads Elementary.

Someone could be heard inside, but no one would come to the door.

Superintendent Debra Hendricks in a written statement, she said, “The Sylvan Union School District is taking this matter very seriously. School safety has been and will continue to be a very high priority.”

The family intends to take the matter up with the district.

Desseray says she and the other girl in the fight received multi-day suspensions.
