Baby Carlos, who was found in a dumpster several days ago, already has a legal team looking out for his health and welfare.
His 16-year-old mother, who said she gave birth to him in a bathtub and thought he was dead, could get custody of the infant. He is currently in the care of Child Protective Services, but a hearing next week could put mother and child back together.
Legal analyst Gerald Treece tells KHOU 11 that the child is well represented.

And the biological father could face charges. The young mother says the father is 22 years old.
