After countless years of the hood’s grassroots campaign of “Free Boosie,” the Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie is finally going to be released from prison in a few weeks. Lil Boosie is slated to be released from prison on February 13, 2014.
Plenty of reports initially stated Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, was going to be freed sometime in August of this year. However, the date was pushed up several months after he completed a substance abuse class. Lil Boosie’s date has been expedited also because of his good behavior. While in the Louisiana State Penetintary, Boosie also got his GED.
I’m proud of that brutha making good use of his time. I’m thinking his new scholarly accomplishments and excellent behavior will translate into his free life. In my Gina voice”You GO boy!”
