The list of top baby names for 2013 is out today. The website babyCenter.com lists Jackson as the top boy’s name. Aiden had been the leading boy’s name for the past eight years. Among girls, Sophia is in the top spot for the fourth year in a row. babyCenter editor-in-chief Linda Murray says celebrity names are on their way out. They’re being replaced by names that mean something to parents, especially family names.
There are some new names in the top 100. Among them are Caden, Jayce and Muhammad for boys. Among girls, Lila, Adalyn, Alaina and Liliana are new.
