Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three months in prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion. She has also been sentenced to three additional months of home confinement, according to TMZ.
Hill, 37, failed to pay about $1 million in taxes. She contends she always planned on paying the taxes, but was unable to due to financial hardship after she dropped off the scene.
Lauryn will report July 8th for her sentence. The location has yet to be determined.
