Lawyers for Kim Kardashian have won a major victory over Kris Humphries in the divorce trial of the year, slapping the Nets’ power forward into court without some potentially damaging emails.
TMZ reports Kris demanded to see a variety of emails Kim sent from closed email accounts. While the hearing was originally scheduled for May 2, his lawyers pressed the judge to hear the issue today. Judge Scott Gordon refused.
Even if the judge orders Kim to release the email, TMZ says she will have 10 days to deliver the goods. With the divorce trial set to begin May 6, the case will be over before he even got the emails in question.
Gordon also ruled today that cameras will not be permitted in the courtroom, according to Radar Online.
