Meek Mill just recently returned from doing some shows overseas, and has since kicked off his ‘Dreams Do Come True’ tour. So far, the #8 MC according to MTV, has taken the stage in his hometown Philly, Baltimore, and DC (for a list of dates, go here). But during his recent stop in DC, he stopped thru 93.9 WKYS for his exclusive ‘House Party’ to get meet some of his “Dream Chasers” before he hit the stage. I had a chance to go one-on-one with Meek Mill about the third installment of his mixtape series ‘Dream Chasers’, his fans overseas vs fans in the states, his upcoming ‘Tony’s Story’ novel, and the tour.
But of course, I had to clear some things up too! If you have been keeping up with Meek over the past couple of weeks, his name has been all over the blogs: His alleged hook up with Tyga’s baby momma, Blac Chyna, him allegedly charging fans to take pictures overseas, and his boss Rick Ross being criticized for date rape lyrics. These 3 topics were definitely the elephant in the room, so I had to ask him. Sidebar: If I didn’t, you would have my head on a platter.
