A man who’s accused of leaving a two-year-old girl alone at a McDonald’s off the Eastex Freeway is charged with abandoning and endangering a child.
Deputies arrested Charles Godfrey when he returned to the restaurant about an hour after abandoning the girl, who is his girlfriend’s daughter.
It’s not known at this time why Godfrey left the child.
