(Undated) — The public may be be split over the resemblance between the “Bible” miniseries’ Satan and President Obama. Respondents in an AccessHollywood.com poll are divided 50-50 when asked if they think the actor who played the devil and the President really look alike. Producers of The History Channel show say any perceived resemblance played no part in their casting decision, and call allegations to the contrary “utter nonsense.” The History Channel has also released a statement on the matter, saying it’s “unfortunate that anyone made this false connection.” The issue cropped up during Sunday’s airing of “The Bible,” with countless Twitter users commenting on the resemblance between the Satan character and the President.
