The online magazine, BuzzFeed, supposedly received a letter from Beyonce’s publicist asking them to take down a few “unflattering” pictures published after her Super Bowl Half-Time performance.
Unfortunately for Bey, the Internet is going nuts having fun with her pictures and people are creating their own memes.
I know, you might be asking, “What’s a meme?”
A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena. And most the time, it’s pictures that are embellished by individuals and shared on the internet.
