(Undated)  —  Over 25 billion songs served.  Apple’s new milestone is music to its ears.  The company announced Wednesday that its iTunes store has topped the 25 billion mark in the number of digital songs downloaded.  According to iTunes, the 25 billionth song purchase was a “Monkey Drums” remix by Chase Buch.  According to “USA Today,” the purchaser, a German man named Phillip Lupke, will be getting an iTunes Gift Card worth roughly 13-thousand-dollars to mark the milestone.

Apple says iTunes averages more than 15-thousand song downloads per minute.
