Could we be losing a living sports legend? The Sun reports that Muhammad Ali could be on his death bed. Ali’s brother, Rahman Ali believes it could only be a matter of days before the boxing icon passes away.
“My brother can’t speak–he doesn’t recognize me….he’s very sick” Rahman revealed. He goes on to say “It could be months, it could be days. I don’t know if he’ll last the summer. He’s in God’s hands. We hope he gently passes away.”
Complicating matters is a heated feud between Rahman and Ali’s wife, of 26 years, Lonnie. Rahman claims Lonnie has prevented him from visiting with Ali and that the last time he saw Ali was back in July in London. Communication between the two brothers is limited to phone calls.
“This is the saddest thing in my life. I’m going to let God take care of it — he’s the best attorney anyone can have” Rahman said.
