This afternoon after I left the gym I went to Wendy’s to get something to eat. As I’m ordering at the drive-thru I hear the rudest person with the most irritating voice in the world say “J Mac why are you eating at Wendy’s?” The first thought that came to my mind was why are you working here. The second thought why do these fast food restaurants hire so many unhappy people? That’s something I will never understand. In this economy if you’ve got a job, that alone should put a smile on your face. Yeah, fast food isn’t a glamorous job and for those that don’t want to make a career out of it, it probably feels like you’re at the bottom of a long ladder to the top. That may be true, but at least you’re on your way.
