It was an apparent case of road rage that caused several shots to be fired Tuesday afternoon in the West Oaks mall parking lot.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s office, the incident started when one driver was rear ended by another car while entering the mall parking lot.
The first driver fired at the second vehicle after exiting his car. The shots failed to hit the second car, but did hit the tires of a third car.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene and arrested the alleged shooter.
Investigators say the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene before they arrived. Charges have not yet been filed.
