The Tennessee Titans played here for 36 years as the Houston Oilers. When they left for Nashville a lot of fans were divided. Do I still cheer for my favorite team even though they play over 670 miles away? Do I cheer for the Dallas Cowboys because they are still in Texas? Or do I just say to hell with it and start following golf?
I know many folks who passed down their love of the Oilers to their kids and grandkids. So I understand it is probably very hard to give up on this type of loyalty.
I’ve been Cowboy fan since I was 7 and even if they moved to Toronto (I’d be mad) but I probably would still root for them.
What about you? Do you still get down with the Titans or are you all about the Texans now?
