It appears that 50 Cent is still the king of hype. After engaging in a back-and-forth exchange of insults  on Twitter with boxer Floyd Mayweather, 50 Cent is now saying that it was all a joke.

“I’m sick of all this nonsense. Floyd asked me to act like were fighting cause no one was paying any attention after his 60 days,” 50 Tweeted, referring to Mayweather’s jail bid for domestic violence. “I know some [of] the thing we do in hip hop for shock value are wrong. He just wanted some attention. Floyd is like a brother to me.”

However, there have been no statements by Mayweather on Twitter corroborating 50′s claim.  There were definitely skeptics who thought it was all hype so they get the big prize.

We guess all is well with the Money Team. Unless one of them has frequent bouts of amnesia and has to be reminded that they are friends every day. That would make a cool movie…
