We hear a lot of crazy stories here at HipHopWired, but this one takes the cake (or the chicken leg) for being utterly ridiculous. A man in Zimbabwe admitted to assaulting his wife, because she decided to keep the best parts of their chicken dinner all to herself.
Jabulani Nube, 40, admitted that after his 24-year-old wife, Nomusa Sibanda, cooked him a chicken dinner giving him only the bird’s gizzard, wings and one drumstick, he lost it. She saved the breast and one drumstick for herself, at which point Nube went crazy on her. According to local tradition, when serving a man, a woman should first offer him the best pieces of the meal and leave the scraps for herself. Not abiding by the rules, left Sibanda battered by Nube, before she fled to be with her grandmother.
