Singer Monica isn’t too pleased with her ex-fiance, Atlanta rapper Rocko. Rocko has recently joined the cast of “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” against the wishes of his former flame.

According to reports, Rocko is joining the hip-hop reality show to build some buzz for his upcoming album. Rocko, real name Rodney Ramone Hill Jr., hasn’t seen any mainstream success since his 2008 single “Umma Do Me.” The single hit number sixty-six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Rocko has an underground staple since. He has dropped four mixtapes since fading out of mainstream’s limelight.

Monica is said to be furious Rocko is coming on the show. She allegedly offered him a serious amount of money to not participate in the show. Obviously, the money and exposure from VH1 is more than Monica could offer and he took the deal presented to him by VH1. Although it hasn’t been said if Rocko will reveal some skeletons from Monica’s closet, we’re sure that could possibly be a reason she doesn’t want him on the show. The couple was together on-and-off for a decade and produced their children Rodney Ramone Hill III and Romelo Montez Hill. Possibly, Monica tried to pay him off so his children never have to deal with their father acting a fool on reality television. We shall see when “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” returns for a second season.
