Help Combat Child Abuse In Texas

Child abuse is a troubling pandemic that affects over three million children in the United States every year.

Last year, the State of Texas witnessed over 270 child abuse related deaths.

Although child abuse/child maltreatment cases are trending up, there is a workable solution to help stave this widespread dilemma.

For starters, check out Prevent Child Abuse Texas, which is a statewide non-profit organization that works to prevent child abuse and neglect in all its forms throughout Texas.

The organization helps spread awareness for their cause by going into various communities and conducting training sessions, sponsoring  5K walks and “walks to action for children.”
