Only two weeks after the “Dark KnightMassacre in Aurora, Colorado where 12 people lost their lives, another tragic event hit southern Wisconsin on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 where alleged gunman Wade Michael Page killed six people and wounded four at a Sikh temple.

According to Southern Poverty Law Center, Page has ties to a white supremacist group and is the former leader of a neo-Nazi music group called End Apathy. Page  was an Army veteran stationed at Fort Still, then Fort Bliss and then Fort Bragg. After rising in rank, he later was given a dishonorable discharge in 1998 for acts of misconduct.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Teresa Carlson states that Page was the only one involved in shooting. However, an unidentified suspicious man last seen at the crime scene is being pursued.
