Texas Higher Education Journal and Diverse Issues In Higher Education recently recognized Texas Southern University (TSU) as a leading producer of bachelor’s and graduate degrees among African Americans and Hispanic Students.
Out of 100 African Americans conferred graduate degrees, TSU ranked fourth following Howard University who ranked first. TSU also ranked first in Texas with an 87% African American graduation rate.
Our rankings in these two recent studies indicate that we are on the right path to achieve our mission, said Dr. John Rudley, Texas Southern President.
