According to information released from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Roberto Ventura was arrested and charged with murder.
Ventura was involved in an altercation with 22-year-old James E. Hill at the 10200 block of Old Bammel North Houston Road Tuesday evening. During the course of the altercation, Ventura removed a handgun from his waistband and allegedly shot Hill multiple times.
Ventura then fled the scene on foot. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nineteen-year-old Ventura was taken into custody Wednesday.
