As Houston and surrounding areas continue to dry out, there are several roads that are closed as a result of high water from this week’s storms. The following is a list of closed roads in Montgomery County for Friday, July 13, 2012:
District Two
Units checked Spring Creek at IH 45 and Riley Fuzzel – Creek is out of banks, but not over the roadway. Crews will continue to check throughout the night.
District Four
Decker Prairie Rosehill/Coe Loop One Lane is not passable
Dobbin Huffsmith Rd/ Rosie Lane Not passable
Conroe Huffsmith/Mcso Range Not passable
Glenmont Estates Blvd/Ann Cir Barricades are in place
Vallie Rd/Hwy 249 Not Passable/Reports of residential flooding
Walnut Creek/Butera Standing water reported, road is passable
Silver Spur/Stagecoach Road The road is not passable On Silver Spur
Decker Prairie Rosehill/Harris County Not Passable,barricades placed from Harris County
District Six
Spring Creek Dr/Timber Lakes Subdivision Reports of water on the roadway and road is still passable
Crews have also checked units along Spring Creek on Gosling/Kuykendahl/Flintridge. Crews determined that the creek is out of the banks, but the roadway is not close. Officials will keep checking throughout the night.
