Are your kids playing too much video games over the summer? Help your kids get lost in a new book and learn something new.
Register them for the 2012 Summer Reading Program at your nearest Houston Public Library.
The John P. McGovern Foundation Summer Reading Program (SRP) is a free program that rewards kids with a free book after completing a number amount of books ranging from 10 to 30. Children from ages 0-18 can register for the Summer Reading Program and compete in Grand Prizes including a free ticket at the Houston Astros game or a LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet.
