From Something To Nothing: The Art of Rap is rapper, Ice-T’s new movie. Ice stresses that the movie is not about stardom, bling or beef; it’s about craft, skill and what goes on inside the minds that these rhymes come from.

In part 2 of the interview Ice-T addresses whether there is an age limit in Hip Hop:

I say the age 15-30 is the main focal point of Hip Hop because it’s a youth movement.  Me, Ice Cube, LL, had our moment and now it’s time for the youngsters to get to shine to, we shouldn’t  expect to be on radio, but that doesnt mean we can’t rap.

Hip Hop is a very  competitive artform….So when you get in the booth you have to be willing to get called out….I got called wack my whole career, but it just added fuel to the fire and made me wanna get better.

Hear this and more about whether “Ice-T and Coco” and “Law and Order: SVU” are returning to TV and why he doesn’t have a phone.

The Art of Rap debuts in theatres June 15th!
