A Florida man is facing criminal charges after throwing a box of snack crackers at his wife. Andy Gatz was arrested last week after he reportedly got into an argument with his spouse and hit her with a box of Cheez-Its. Gatz, who has been ordered by the courts to not have any contact with his wife, was said to be upset because she had attended an Earth Day concert in Orlando. Gatz told police that he only threw a single cracker at his wife, not the entire box. The 37-year-old Palm Bay resident is now charged with battery and violation of an injunction. ClickOrlando.com says he’s due back in court on May 8th for a hearing.
