Police Shoot And Kill Driver After Chase On I-45

Around 2:00 A.M. Tuesday morning, the driver of a red Ford 150 pickup truck ran a red light in Willis and refused to stop. That triggered a chase down I-45, inbound. Authorities tried several times to deploy spike strips and finally succeeded on I-45 right under The Woodlands Parkway flyover. Throughout the chase the driver automatically opened his camper and swung the wheelchair in the bed of his truck towards officers.

That driver was later identified as Brian Carnes.
