After one of her fan Twitter accounts allegedly leaked songs of hers on the social network, rapper Nicki Minaj has deleted her own Twitter page leaving over 11 million followers scratching their heads.
The move has created an online civil war between Minaj fan sites like Nicki Daily and the rappers “Barbz” trading blame for their idol’s departure from the social network.
Before deleting the account Nicki wrote,”And that’s exactly why I’m paying barbz DUST right now! And deleting my Twitter. Don’t cry for me Argentina.”
Nicki joins Keyshia Cole and Havoc of Mobb Deep as the latest celebrities to defect from Twitter. Maybe the direct access to her fans got to be too much? (spotted @ SoulCulture.uk)
