Nicki Minaj’s Father Speaks Out On Recent Comments Against Him

During a recent interview with “Nightline,” Nicki Minaj admitted that she “wanted to kill [her dad]” and that she “used to wish he was dead.” She painted a picture of a violent, drug addicted man who beat on her mother.

Her father, Omar, didn’t know he felt that way about him.

TMZ reports–from a unamed source of the family– “Nicki’s anecdotes are grossly exaggerated — Omar admits he had anger issues when she was a child … but insists it NEVER reached the point Nicki described in her interview.”

The source adds “her father still loves Nicki very much … and always has.”
