Just when you thought the streets of R&B were safe to roam again, R. Kelly announces he’s unleashing a whole new installment of the soap opera, Trapped In The Closet. The next 22 chapters are set to air on IFC. The Pied Piper of R&B began creating the musical soap opera back in 2005 and once it was made available to the public, they couldn’t get enough. Kells promised more chapters years ago and nothing ever surfaced until now.
Our friends at The Boom Box got their hands on a grainy preview of the next few chapters. The 35 second video blends footage from different chapters of the soap opera to give you the general idea of the direction he’s taking the outlandish musical.
