Today Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to 4 years in prison in the Los Angeles County Jail on involuntary manslaughter charges related to the death of singer Michael Jackson.
The court denied the request for probation deeming him unsuitable and disqualified because he “abandoned his patient, administered dangerous drugs, repeatedly lied, engaged in deceitful conduct and violated the trust of the medical community, along with no sense of remorse of fault” stated the judge.
The judge stated that the court does not have the legal authority to send Dr. Murray to state prison.
